The Project

Hengistbury Head Outdoors (HHO) is a local, community-led charity with a big ambition – to breathe new life into the beloved activity centre at Hengistbury Head.

I came into this project at a time where it was evolving from a small community fundraiser to a real and fast paced renovation project. As a brand it needed polishing to be taken seriously and in the near future open as a business.

Storytelling

HHO's story is one of community and passion for the outdoors. My main focus was to bring it to life and show off this passion and the real people behind it.

The next chapter.

Having started as a small local fundraiser, HHO had the bare bones of a brand but there were some flaws in how the brand was being used and overall it lacked brand consistency.

Keep them hooked.

With new design guidelines, templates, and social assets, HHO now looks consistent and instantly recognisable. Engagement, views, and followers have all risen, putting the project back at the forefront of the community.

Rewrite the expected.

HHO now shows up with a cohesive, recognisable brand. While still powered by its community and volunteers, it has a more polished presence that’s attracting new supporters and building momentum ahead of its upcoming business launch.

I’ve been working with Charlie on HHO for several months.

It has consistently been a pleasure - Charlie is proactive, creative, imaginative and works swiftly to deliver solutions. She is always open to feedback and suggestions so it feels like a genuine partnership. She is a lovely person too!
